Bay Enterprises partnered with a leading food manufacturer in Ireland who was operating with an outdated and inefficient vacuum system at one of its key processing facilities. The system was generating excessive energy consumption, increased maintenance demands, and an uncomfortable working environment due to heat output.
Our Solution
Following a comprehensive on-site energy audit, Bay Enterprises identified the potential for significant energy savings with a more advanced vacuum system.
Our Industrial Repair Workshop team, in collaboration with our on-site Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) team, proposed the installation of a centralised Atlas Copco vacuum system. This solution featured:
- Oil-sealed screw vacuum pumps
- Integrated Variable Speed Drive (VSD)
- High-efficiency IE5 permanent magnet motor
This fully managed solution was tailored to the site’s specific process and energy profile, ensuring operational and sustainability targets were met.
